Peel the onion. Slice it by holding horizontally to get 4-5 mm thick rings. (Use the ruler in the top right corner of the recipe card.) Separate the small rings from the onion slices. Be careful not to smash the rings.

Put flour, panko and egg in 3 separate bowls. Add 2 tablespoons of water and whisk into the egg. Add a pinch of salt and pepper in egg bowl. Add a pinch of salt and pepper in flour bowl.


Start to bread onion rings one by one. In this order; flour – egg – panko. Make sure that all sides are covered with materials.


Get the onion rings on a plate. Cover it with a stretch wrap and keep in fridge until you use it.


Cut burger breads in half. Slice the tomato. Cut the pickles thinly to place in burger bread. Wash and rinse the lettuce.

Çıtır soğan halkaları ile sucuk pişirme işlemini aynı anda yapacaksınız.


Küçük bir tava alın. (Tava ne kadar küçük olursa o kadar az yağ kullanırsınız.) 


¼ çay bardağı ayçiçek yağı ekleyin. Yağı orta ateşte ısıtın. Yağın hazır hale gelip gelmediğini anlamak için soğanlardan birini yağa değdirin. Yağ kızıyorsa (köpürüyorsa) hazır demektir.


Tavanın aldığı kadar soğanı kızartmaya başlayın. Soğanlar renk alana kadar arkalı önlü çevirerek 2 dakika kadar kızartın. Fazla yağın emilmesi için; kızarttıktan sonra bir havlu kağıt üzerine alın.

Take another pan on middle heat. Add 1/2 tablespoon of sunflower oil. When the oil warm up, start cooking the sausages. Cook each sides for 2 minutes and take them aside.

Heat the breads that you cut in half on low heat, in the pan you cooked the sausages. You can also do this process while cooking sausages.


Place sausages, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles into burger breads. Serve with crispy onion rings.
